Minimum Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area and two years of appropriate experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Special Conditions

Initial screening will begin February 22, 2018.
The department is especially interested in candidates with fundraising experience.

Work Schedule

Monday – Wednesday 11:30 am – 9:00 pm
Thursday 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
Sunday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
May work an alternative schedule during the summer and holiday weeks.

Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities

Develops and implements strategies to provide for successful telephone solicitation and mail fulfillment of gifts via Phonathon. Assists with Annual Giving solicitation strategies for recent graduates and other University constituents (including Phonathon, electronic and direct mail solicitations and social media). Conducts research to implement into communication pieces that build a case for giving.

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinates recruitment, interviews, hiring, training, coaching, motivation, supervision, scheduling and payroll for student callers. Supervises and assists with the duties of supervisors and student fundraisers. Implements and evaluates the Phonathon Manual to ensure quality calls and results align with industry standards.

Creates data selection requests to target specific segments including but not limited to alumni, parents, students and recent Graduates. Ensures data accuracy by checking major data points throughout numerous lists. Collaborates with IT and the vendor to facilitate data feeds and corresponding results. Abides by the university’s PCI compliancy policy and processes credit cards for the department.
