Minimum Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, IT or business related field and and five years of appropriate experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.

Must have SQL experience.

Special Conditions

The department is especially interested in candidates with experience in:
• Proficiency with SQL, Argos Report Writer, including the development of data blocks
• Familiarity with OnBase Document Management
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access
• Familiarity with Ellucian’s Banner ERP system and/or other higher education ERP systems
• Experience in a higher education

Acts as a functional steward of relevant data, working collaboratively to ensure a high level of data integrity.

Promotes, educates and trains the HR staff with sound data management principles, including concepts of system of record, data integrity, data standards, and data stewardship.

Articulates and promotes best practices regarding data management and usage within the HR Department, including refining business processes and configuring and testing software to support improved processes.

Creates project plans and/or test plans for software upgrades or implementations. Identifies training needs within HR; facilitates and/or delivers that training.
