Minimum Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant area and three years of appropriate experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.

Special Conditions

Successful candidates must have relevant Linux/Unix administration and IT experience including the following:
- Experience supporting a networked enterprise Linux/Unix environment.

- Ability to script and automate common maintenance tasks, including application and OS patching.

- Advanced knowledge of core networking protocols.
- Experience supporting common data center server technology.

In addition to the experience above, the following experience is preferred:
- Experience supporting RedHat Enterprise Linux or CentOS distributions
 using command-line tools.
- Experience supporting an enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) environment.

- Experience supporting VMware or other virtualized infrastructure systems.
- Experience supporting LAMP stack technologies or other web platforms.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
