Minimum Position Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant area and ten (10) years of progressive experience demonstrating leadership skills. Broad and in-depth knowledge of technology and support infrastructure including operations, networking, server, service desk, and application development domains. Proven record of success managing complex projects, business processes, and human resources.

Coordinates development of information technology strategic plan in support of university strategic plan and mission

Coordinates development and implementation of information technology-related policies and procedures for the University

Coordinates research and evaluation of new technologies, monitoring of trends in software and hardware and recommendations of appropriate initiatives to ensure currency and efficiency of technology use

Coordinates surveys and recommends actions in response to identified problems/concerns, ensuring continuous quality improvement

Coordinates efforts of the information technology leadership team to enhance and improve the information technology environment; monitors and recommends corrective actions to address operational, personnel, and business process issues; provides oversight of technology and support infrastructure including data center, networking, server, application development domains, and other items as needed.
