Minimum Position Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of fundraising experience.

Must be able to comply with Athletic Department, University, NCAA, and conference policies and procedures.

Special Conditions

Initial review of applicants will begin on August 28, 2017.

The department is especially interested in candidates with a Master’s degree, as well as experience fundraising in collegiate athletics.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Some evenings and weekends will be required, as well as overnight travel.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Manages portfolio of 150+ donors and prospects to maximize donations through solicitations.

Identifies, cultivates, and solicits new donations including major gifts.

Ensures consistent and appropriate contact with athletic donors (emails, direct mailings, calls, videos, seat selection, etc.).

Coordinates athletic donor interaction (including parking for football and basketball, seat selection, donor related events, etc.).

Researches, suggests and implements strategies, initiatives and best practices for annual fund growth.

Coordinates and promotes teamwork throughout department with the daily operations for the Tiger Scholarship Fund.
